Donation of an American Flag from U.S. Senator Susan M. Collins that will be flown over the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The winning bidder can specify the date on which the flag is flown and ask that the flag be flown in honor of an occasion of the bidder's choice. Flags are frequently flown in memory of loved ones, perhaps on their birthday or anniversary, or in honor of an individual or group that is special to the person requesting the flag.

The flag will be accompanied by a certificate stating that the flag was flown over the U.S. Capitol at Senator Susan Collin's request and noting the person or group in whose memory or honor the flag was flown. Flags are available in cotton or nylon, and in sizes 3 feet by 5 feet or 5 feet by 8 feet. A gift certificate will be mailed to the successful bidder.
