Mortimer's has been serving fine food and drink as a family owned and locally operated restaurant since 1981.  Many of our recipes and all of our tradition come directly from the Knickerbocker, a once famous and familiar Memphis landmark.  Today, as the tradition continues, you can still find an array of Knickerbocker decor as well as a comfortable atmosphere.  So sit back and enjoy a great meal Mortimer's way!

Mortimers's is owned and operated by Sara Stewart.  Sara is the daughter of the late Vernon Mortimer Bell, who owned The Knickerbocker, Danver's, and The Little Tea Shop restaurants.  Mortimers has a very popular plate lunch menu, and is also known for the great steaks and seafood on our dinner menu.  In 2008, Memphis Magazine voted us one of the top "Most Underrated" restaurants in the city.
