Description

Enjoy Normandy in style, comfort and tranquility with all the amenities included in this secluded early 18th Century farmhouse, La Porte Rouge.  Only three and a half hours from Paris, near the D-Day beaches, Mont-Saint-Michel and the Bayeux Tapestry, La Porte Rouge is the perfect refuge to discover this charming region of France.  You'll find the La Porte Rouge estate at the end of a quiet country road and surrounded by landscaped grounds, gardens and fields.  The main house is a fully-furnished, two-story structure, with six bedrooms, and three modern full bathrooms, forming one side of the traditional four-sided Norman farmhouse around a large central courtyard.  La Porte Rouge sleeps twelve people, with ten twin beds and one queen sized bed.  Madame Touzard, a chef from the village, is available to prepare wonderful Norman cuisine for the duration of your stay, if you wish, for an addtional charge payable at a later date.  Previous tenants have found this to be a great convenience when they are out touring all day.  Click on the link below to view this incredible property and read the history yourself!
