Governor and Mrs. Carcieri announced “Leave Your Troubles Behind,” by Rumford artist Donna Kenny Kirwan, as winner of the 2009 Scenes of Rhode Island award. This signed, limited edition watercolor shows the various ways that Rhode Islanders choose to relax and enjoy the Ocean State during the summer months.
