This is a signed and dated photograph by a very well known artist, Charles Anselmo, donated to us by Dr. Mark and Mrs. Hilda Barradas. Charles Anselmo is known for his photographic decontruction of both New Orleans and Havana, Cuba. This is a picture of a "Machine Shop" in Havana. Mr. Anselmo "is drawn to the quiet and evocative beauty of Cuba's architectural decay, which to me suggests ongoing themes of memory and loss."
