This Rosary was made to commemorate and celebrate the Jubilee 2000 Holy Year. Made in Italy with antique style pewter finish Zama (a metal alloy similar to German silver) artistic "rose" beads, center and four Roman Basilicas' medals, the Rosary features the Jubilee 2000 symbol. * Each bead is etched on two sides in the shape of a "double faced" rose. A subtle black finish background adds luster to the metal and brings out the beauty of the engraved work in sharper details. The cross is designed in the shape of two rustic logs with a mini sculpture of Christ on it. * Above the head of Christ is a sign with "Inri" engraved on it (not too visible). The back side of the cross continues the "rustic wood" style of the front side. Toward the bottom is the "Italy" mark. In relief, on the front side of the center is the jubilee 2000 symbol over a black antique pewter finish background and on the back side are found, also in relief, the words "Iubilaeum" and "AD 2000".
