George Bizet (1838-1875) was a French composer and pianist of the Romantic era. He is best known for the opera Carmen and created a rare jewel in the opera The Pearl Fishers. This package is a tribute to his life and works and includes a two-disc CD set of The Pearl Fishers featuring Barbara Hendricks as "Leila" and John Aler as "Nadir", a biography of Bizet, and a ready-to-hang 12x18 print on canvas of Bizet himself.
