Elephant Painting -Acrylic on Watercolor Paper

Sukari, Nashville Zoo's African elephant, captures the essence of adventure in this wonderful piece of earthy tones (avocado, camel, brown, Burgundy and black) and short, curling gestures.  Obviously moving away from her minimalist period, Surkari now expresses her naturally curious character.  The piece is surrounded by a black mat and framed in exotic slightly distressed brown wood.  On the back is information about the artist and the Nashville Zoo's elephant painting project.  Finished size is 19"x21"
