Mable is a 33 year old African elephant and is the artist of this energetic painting. She has resided at Miami Metrozoo since 1979. Mable is a spunky little elephant that enjoys investigating new toys and making big messes. She is particularly good at covering herself head to toe with clay while wallowing on summer days. Mable is always enthusiastic about creating paintings and in the end she and her trainers have as much paint on them as the canvas!
