Trunk Painted by Taj, our 69 year old female Asian Elephant here at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. 

Taj has been living here at the park since 1978. You might have watched her down at the Log Show, or taken a ride around our rides trail on her back! Taj has met hundreds of thousands, if not millions of our park guests over the years and loves the attention that she gets from these interactions.

Though she is our old lady, she definitely still has the spunk and enthusiasm of a younger elephant! 

Taj enjoys her retirement these days by spending time soaking up the sun down in the pool, grazing for hours in her own special grassy area, and getting lots of treats and attention from her trainers!
