Description

Jasperware is a fine white stoneware originally produced by Josiah Wedgwood in 1775, often colored by metallic oxides with raised designs remaining white.  This Jasperware powder box is colored sage green. On the lid is a raised white design depicting a young couple sharing a kiss!  There is also a raised design on the front of the box, which is slightly faded, as well as an imperfection in the back left of the inner lip of the box.
