The layout of the China Creek course provides the opportunity for many memorable rounds.  China Creek combines mesmerizing views with layouts that provide challenge and variety for golfers of all abilities.

Trees are more prevalent on China Creek, notably on #14 where they define the green.  Elsewhere on the course, water may come into play on the 10th hole, a false front awaits on the #13 green, and golfers will find a two-tiered green on the 17th.   The finishing hole requires an accurate tee shot over a large ravine to an uphill, sloping fairway.  Providing an inviting backdrop to the home hole is Newcastle's spectacular clubhouse, which one golf writer described as "worthy of English royalty."
