Have you ever wondered what it's like to have over 3,000 horsepower at your disposal?  Have you ever wondered how hard it is to stop a locomotive?  Here's your chance to find out.  Be an Engineer Trainee for a day.  KCS Railroad has donated 2 hours of time on their locomotive simulator for the winning bidder and up to five guests (at least one adult must be present, maximum of six guests can fit in the simulator room).  Much like an airplane simulator, a locomotive simulator shows different situations that the Engineer must overcome to deliver his train safely to its destination.   Many thanks to Southfield Dads, Russell "Bud" Pickett and Willy Thelen for coordinating this amazing experience.
