Kindergarten created their cake stand based on their study of China. It features a panda in a bamboo forest with the Chinese flag as the backdrop.  The children each wrote their names on a bamboo shoot on the pedestal, and the children's thumbprints created the panda.  There is no better "souvenir" from days at Southfield!  Many thanks to Vanessa Schachtel for her guidance with this project.
