Description

Pieced golden oak game table, 29-1/2" high, 30"x30" square.  This table probably was made between 1890 and 1920 by a craftsman who spent a lot of evenings figuring out the mechanics of piecing together not only the squares of different colored pieces of oak, but also the geometric design that surrounds it.

The finish is not perfect, but that shows its age and suggests the many games of chess and checkers that were played around it.  It's ready to go into your game room, so you can teach the kids these wonderful pastimes.
