They're young. They're in trouble. They need a new way to look at the world. And the Fresh Eyes Photography Project is helping. Professional photographers are teaching incarcerated youth how to take pictures. The hands-on training is giving them a way to see the world in a new light.
This striking photograph was taken by Jazmyn, one of the young women who completed the Fresh Eyes program recently at the Camino Nuevo facility in Albuquerque.

If the winning bidder is a New Mexico resident, this item can be picked up at drop points in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or Socorro after the auction closes. There will be no shipping charge for those who can pick up their winnings.
