Since 1972, the New Mexico Ballet Company has been an active member of New Mexico's performing arts community.

They bring the Nutcracker to the University of New Mexico as an annual holiday treat.  With the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra performing Tchaikovsky's beloved score, the stage at Popejoy Hall becomes a magical wonderland of tin soldiers battling armies of rats, beautiful snowflakes, flowers, and all the delights of a child's Christmas dreams.

This is New Mexico's only Nutcracker production with live orchestra!
