Bookworks is offering a $150 gift certificate to the highest bidder who will choose from a selection of advanced reading copies.  These are books sent to bookstores prior to publication and represent many authors.  This is a wonderful opportunity to read some great books before the rest of us are able to lay our hands on them!

Bookworks is nestled in Albuquerque's North Valley. This locally-owned, independent book store is in its 25th year of operation.  They were indie before indie was cool and they have survived AND thrived despite the difficult climate for other independent stores around the country. 

Besides featuring award winning books, indie bestsellers, and numerous other titles,  Bookworks is host to various reading groups and great author events. The latter have included favorite writers such as Rudolfo Anaya, Wally Lamb, Alisha Valdez-Rodriguez, Amy Goodman and Deborah Madison.
