Lisa Lenard-Cook is an award-winning writer whose two novels are available to the highest bidder:


Dissonance was awarded the Jim Sagel Prize for the Novel while in manuscript.  It was selected as Book of the Year by several libraries around the country and it was an NPR Performance Today Summer Reading Choice.  The New Republic called it "..... a novel that deserves attention...written in polished, impressive prose."


Coyote Morning was selected as a Southwest Book of the Year and was a New Mexico Presswomen Zia Prize Honoree.  In it's review, The Dallas Morning News called it "......an engrossing, thought-provoking novel."


Lisa is also the author of The Mind of Your Story: Discover What Drives Your Fiction, a book about fiction writing.  She writes short stories, several of which have been published in journals and she pens a monthly column, "The Art of Fiction," for the website Authorlink.com.  She's a faculty member at the Santa Barbara Writers Conference and at Narrative Art Center in Santa Fe.  She also teaches fiction writing in private classes.
