One of America's foremost repertory companies, The Barter Theatre of Virginia, brings John Steinbeck's classic novella, "Of Mice and Men,"  to life in their absorbing stage production.

George and Lenny, two migrant workers in Depression-era California, long for a farm and a home of their own in this timeless American masterpiece.  But when they take up work on a California ranch, their dreams, "like the best laid schemes of mice and men," go tragically awry.

"Of Mice and Men" is an Ovation Series selection.  The winning bidder will receive one pair of tickets for the performance on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 7:30 pm in Popejoy Hall on the campus of The University of New Mexico.

"Popejoy Presents" is the signature series of live performances at Popejoy Hall.  They bring quality events for Albuquerque and all of New Mexico: touring Broadway musicals, dance, music from around the world, comedy and drama.
