If you ever wanted to experience glass blowing, this is the place to start.  Jeffrey Schmitt of Aurora Borealis Glassworks is offering a 5 hour class- it covers paperweight making and glass blowing on a pipe.  It's one student, one instructor!  All materials are provided. And you keep everything you make.

Aurora Borealis Glassworks primarily works in the areas of hot glass (blowing) and warm glass (fusing and slumping).  The facility consists of a small hot shop and seven kilns.  Although they produce pieces for galleries and commissions, their primary mission is teaching.  Visit their website for more info on their classes.
