Description

The shape of this piece is that of New Mexico from another time, and yet the cobalt blue and graphic carving is very much the present - the best of both worlds. The high fire stoneware vase can be enjoyed as form by itself or with a single bloom or two (don't forget to change the water every few days).

Claire Lissance often volunteers at KUNM during our pledge drives.  She can be found with her work (clay, handmade paper and paste paper) on most Saturdays June through late October at the Downtown Growers Market in Robinson Park.  Look for a very large magenta hat (an artist resides underneath!) and you've found her booth.  She's also at the Bandelier and Monte Vista Holiday Craft Fairs.
