Chamber Music Albuquerque has announced it's 2009-10 season and it's wonderfully diverse as their programming always is.

The highest bidder will receive a voucher (for one ticket) from CMA which will allow you to attend one concert of your choice this season. And what choices you have!

The Classic Series:

September 20, Brazilian Guitar Quarter (one of the world's leading guitar ensembles will perform Bach, Villa-Lobos and Albeniz); October 25, Pianist Grace Fong (leading pianist of her generation; recipient of 2009 Christel DeHaan Classical Fellowship of the American Pianists Association, one of the most prestigious piano awards given in the U.S.; March 14, Ying Quartet (they combine brilliantly communicative performances with a fearlessly imaginative view of chamber music in today's world; will perform Haydn, Barber and Dvorak).

Chamber Music X:

February 12, Brooklyn Rider (multi-faceted string quartet known for its creative programming and exciting collaborations; will perform music by Philip Glass, Colin Jacobsen and others; they are members of Yo Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble); April 16, trio mediaeval- (an a cappella women's vocal ensemble from Scandinavia; considered to be the world's premiere early music vocal ensemble).

The June Music Festival Series:

June 11 and 13, Shanghai Quartert (melds the delicacy of Eastern music with the power of Western repertoire); June 20, Parker Quartet (equally at home in a concert hall or a downtown New York City club; will perform Beethoven, Schoenberg and Webern).
