Wynton will be coming with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to the Lensic  in Santa Fe on Monday, October 5.   The highest bidder will get one pair of tickets for this fantastic evening.

Under his direction, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra has been called the greatest big band in the world.  The resident orchestra at New York's famed Jazz at Lincoln Center is comprised of the nation's most exciting jazz talents. With a busy tour schedule and repertoire that stretches from New Orleans roots to New York innovations, the group has pursued an ever-expanding mission as jazz ambassadors to the world.

Wynton Marsalis has been described as the most outstanding jazz musician and trumpeter of his generation, as one of the world's top classical trumpeters, as a big band leader in the tradition of Duke Ellington, a brilliant composer, a devoted advocate for the Arts and a tireless and inspiring educator. 

The Outpost Performance Space is a special organization and a special place.  They present a wide variety of music and more - over 100 shows a year plus classes and educational programs - all kinds of jazz; folk, blues and roots music; experimental, classical and international music; kids' programs; poetry and spoken word; theater and performance art.
