If your child has never experienced an exhilarating rope-climb, a solo kayak race, or Sabbath under the stars, this is the summer to discover Camp Laurelwood in North Madison, Connecticut. We are the only Jewish community overnight camp in Connecticut. With a 70 year track record of creating life-long Jewish summer memories and friendships, we are everything you and your kids dreamed camp could be. From the shy first timer to the pre-teen veteran, Laurelwood campers ages 7 through 15 develop self-confidence, make lifelong friendships, master new skills and absorb Jewish values, while having extreme fun! Founded in 1937 on 140 magnificent wooded acres, Camp Laurelwood has created indelible Jewish summer memories for thousands of children.
Facilities
Campers live and play in well-maintained and recently renovated facilities including comfortable, cozy bunks with electricity and bathrooms, convenient shower cabins, the Mess Hall, Rec Hall, Kosher kitchen, the covered “Chuppah”, Nature Hut, Arts and Crafts Studio and our air conditioned computer/game room. Camp Laurelwood encompasses 140 scenic and wooded acres in North Madison, Connecticut with a recreational boating lake, fishing lake, two swimming pools, tennis courts and spacious sports fields.

Camp Laurelwood is located on 140 acres in the middle of North Madison Ct. located off of Exit 61 , I-95. Camp Laurelwood is easily accessible from New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Hartford and New Haven areas.
