Orchestra Seats- February 19th Performance

In the second of this week's two all-Beethoven programs, Maestro Levine and the BSO again offer a striking study in contrasts. First on the program is the gracefully exuberant Fourth Symphony, composed in 1806. The second half brings music of high drama, inspired by Napoleon's rise to power: the groundbreaking Symphony No. 3, Eroica, composed in 1803.
