Lissa donated this item to MDA with the following message:
“My dear friend carried a drawing of this little dancing man in his wallet for years. He wanted to get it tattooed on his shoulder, but kept putting it off. Whenever he would pull it out to show to friends, they would say that it was perfect for him, since he was always that guy in front of stage dancing all night long. Finally his lovely young wife inspired him to just go get that tattoo. Not long after he finally seized the day, he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).”
Lissa's challenge to everyone: "Carpe diem. And while we're at it, let's get the word out about this nasty disease, and raise funds to find a cure!"
