In the 1970's Maggie owned a fish market in Bar Harbor buying from local fishermen, where she filleted and sold fish daily. Being an excellent cook she opened Maggie's Restaurant, offering fresh seafood prepared in a simple and elegant style.
In the 90's, having lack of fresh available produce compelled Maggie and her husband to buy a farm and grow their own organic produce and herbs for their restaurant. Maine raised meat and chicken adds variety in their bistro style cooking. The O'Neil's bring you the best Maine has to offer in a relaxed and hospitable setting.
