Webber Lake is located on a private ranch approximately 30 miles north of Truckee, California.  The winning bidder will spend a mutually agreed upon day  as a guest of Rob Sutherland who will guide him/her to some of the best trout fishing in the West.  7-10 pound Rainbow, Brown and Brook trout are not uncommon; with the average fish weighing 3-5 pounds.  The take limit at this lake is two fish per day, however, it’s not uncommon to catch and release 20+ trophy fish within only a few hours.  Snacks, lunch and dinner will also be prepared and served by Rob (if you can stand his cooking).  To improve the possibility for success, mid-May through June 2010 is the recommended timeframe for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  The winning bidder is welcome to negotiate a workable date with Rob.  The winning bidder is responsible for transportation to and from Webber Lake.
