Description

Composed of peridot crystal pieces punctuated with natural amber beads and 24K vermeil separators, this is a fabulous color combination for those who like earth colors -- apple green and rust! The necklace is approximately 18 inches, the S clasp is also vermeil.   Drop dead gorgeous earrings for your wearing pleasure! These are approximately 1 inch long and feature a large peridot crystal oval surrounded by 24K vermeil disks on either end, then mixed with amber colored Czech crystal bead and another vermeil disk for a very appealing look!  Earwires are 14K gold-filled.

(For those who wonder "what is vermeil?":  Vermeil is a French word which came into use in the English language, mostly in America, in the 19th century as an alternative for the usual term silver-gilt, Vermeil is a combination of sterling silver, gold, and other precious metals. It is commonly used as a component in jewelry. A typical example is sterling silver coated with 14 carat (58%) gold. To be considered vermeil, the gold must also be at least 10 carat (42%) and be at least 1.5 micrometers thick. Sterling silver covered with another metal cannot be called vermeil.)
