The restaurant is located in a house built in 1892 by the Dayton Coal & Iron Company.  The building once served as a Catholic School for the company's 2,500 workers who processed up to 300 tons of ore per day.  The building was sold to a family in 1910 who lived there until 1976.  The building stood vacant for several years before the Fehn's bought it and converted the ground floor into dining rooms and kitchen which can seat 50-60 guests.  The upstairs guest room can be rented for a night's stay.  The Fehn's 1891 House is located in Dayton, TN. Alcohol and gratuity not included.
