Description
Villa Trina is perched on a knoll in the rolling hills of The Marches (Le Marche) region of Italy about 20 miles inland from the Adriatic Sea and at an elevation of 1500 feet. The Villa overlooks several medieval hill towns near and far, Treia being one of them. On clear days several patches of the Adriatic Sea beckon from the east. The Villa consists of two residences surveying twenty acres of farmed fields surrounding the buildings and complemented by an olive grove across the road. The larger of the two houses, Casa Grande, is available for rental May through September. Casa Grande features an entryway foyer with 1/2 bath, a large kitchen, dining room, study, living room with fireplace, television lounge, and laundry room with full bath, all on the ground floor. The second floor offers four bedrooms (two with 1 queen sized bed each and two with 2 twin beds each), 3 full baths including one with tub and shower, and a covered patio (with fireplace) accessible from two of the bedrooms. The Villa is less than an hour's drive from the Ancona/Falconara Airport (AOI), and an hour's drive to the seashore, the Santa Casa (Mary's Holy House) at Loreto, and the beautiful limestone caverns at Frasassi. Assisi is less than a two hour drive. Supermarkets, pharmacies, shops of all sorts, several restaurants, and 10 Catholic churches are all within a 10 minute drive.
