The San Diego Zoo is proud to present this original painting by visiting artist, Keesha the Sloth Bear. Keesha is in San Diego for a limited time so this is truly a one-of-a-kind! A bright blue background is complimented by a single solitary paw print accented in orange.

Although sloth bears may look like a sloth with their long claws that they use for climbing, they actually have more in common with an anteater. Sloth bears are originally from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. They play an important role in their habitats as seed dispensers and the San Diego Zoo has started studying this unique bear to learn more about its behavior and needs.
