This striking footprint was made by our African elephant Tembo. Shades of red, yellow, and green, as well as, the shape of the actual footprint, are very reminiscent of the continent of Africa. This one of a kind masterpiece is truly the highlight of any art collection.

Tembo (Swahili for elephant) has lived at the Zoo for most of her life. Before we adopted her, she was an animal actor and appeared in the TV series Born Free. She currently weighs in around 9,900 pounds.
