This unique painting was made by our elephants, Devi and Tembo. Devi used her trunk to blow green paint on a peach background, while Tembo used her trunk to paint black and orange abstract brush strokes. Together, they've created this one of a kind masterpiece ready to exhibit in a gallery or your living room walls.

Tembo (Swahili for elephant) has lived at the Zoo for much of her life. Before we adopted her, she was an animal actor, and appeared in the TV series Born Free. She currently weighs in at 9,900 pounds. Devi is one of our Asian elephants here at the Zoo. She has smaller ears and no tusks.
