Also included is a V.I.P. tour and tasting, petanque lessons (the French version of Bocce ball), a petanque mini-tournamnet plus a gourmet luxury lunch for up to 6 people at Spann Vineyards with proprietors Betsy and Peter Spann.
Nestle up against the coastal redwoods of the Mayacamas Mountains, the steeply terraced mountainside vineyards yield small amounts of richly flavored Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec grapes. From this and select cool-climate vineyards throughout Sonoma County they craft limited quantities of European-style blended wines.
They ferment in small batches using native yeast whenever possible and give their wines long term aging in a mix of new and older French Oak barrels to gain maximum complexity and maturity before blending and bottling.
Special Instructions
This is valid on a mutually agreeable date between April 20 and August 20, 2010. Spann Vineyards must have a minimum of 30 days advance notice.
Must be 21 to purchase. Sales tax of 9.00% will be applied. Purchaser will be contacted to arrange shipping or pick-up.
