Rustic and full of detail, the hand carved Grape Leaf Necklace by Odette New York was inspired by a walk through a leafy vineyard. Made of 14K gold vermeil (over a sterling silver base), the pendant is approximately 1.2" in length and the chain is 18" in length. Hand textured and signed on the back. 

Each original Odette New York design begins from a pencil sketch that is carefully translated by hand into wax like a tiny sculpture before being cast into metal. 

With attention to craft and detail, everything is made by hand in designer Jennifer Sarkilahti's Brooklyn studio using ancient and modern wax carving techniques and hand fabrication.

Virginia-bred, Sarkilahti studied fine arts for many years, receiving her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from George Mason University. Fusing fine art sensibilities with fashion, Sarkilahti started her line, Odette New York in 2006.
