A DVD of The History Channel's 2009 ten hour document "World War II" in HD.  Amazing new footage of World War II, which is seen through the lens of veterans who kept diaries of their war experieences.  


Veteran Jack Werner, a Jewish emigre from Austria, and grandfather of Katie '10 and Annie '12 is among those interviewed. Jack Werner has kindly agreed to include a copy of his diaries from his combat experiences in 1943-1944 in the Pacific.  A priceless treasure for anyone interested in World War II history.
