The Jalbert camps are legendary. Located on Round Pond, in the heart of the Allagash River Corridor, they are truly a living part of the "Allagash Tradition".
Situated on Windy Point, a two acre peninsula jutting into the pond, the camps offer a magnificent panoramic setting. The compound consists of a Maine kitchen/dining room and 3 sleeping cabins. The cabins have comfortable beds, wood stoves, and gaslights. There is a natural wood sauna and rustic hot tub. The camps are perfectly situated to serve as a base for ay outdoor activity in the Allagash region

From Points South: I-95 North to Sherman. Route 11 to Portage, Maine. From Portage, Maine drive approx 2 hours on a lumbering road to the river. It is a 2 mile paddle to the camps. We can help you with the logistics.
