Description

In Haiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, people must be exceptionally creative to eek out a living. Haitian craftspeople cut up oil drums and pound them laboriously into beautiful art. It takes hours of craftsmanship to produce a single piece. This piece was brought back to the the U.S. by Pure Water for the World who are providing safe water and sanitation and hygiene training to the poorest of the poor.
