Description

Select an elegant view of nature as seen by photographer Emery Roth II.  His work shows a wonderful eye for detail, gained by both his background as an architect and designer, along with his many decades of experience as a photographer.  He often quotes the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Adopt the pace of nature; her secret is patience," to capture his own feelings.

Choose any photographic print by Emery Roth II from his photographic blog site, and he will create and sign, for the winning bidder, a 13" X 19" (paper size) giclée print on Ilford photo paper.

Emery Roth studied both design and literature at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a Bachelor of Architecture and a Masters in English. He has been shooting photographs since he was a child. Since he retired from teaching after thirty years, he spends much of his time hiking the fields and pastures of the Berkshire Hills in search of images that tell the many moods of the land. When Emery Roth is not hiking in the hills, he may be walking the streets of New York City or the old wharves along the Atlantic coast or anywhere that catches his fancy. He hopes the best of his images speak with the immediacy of music.
