"Color my Island Nantucket," the second book in the group, is dedicated to a Nantucket friend, and filled with happy paintings and prose about some of the local spots on the island: Mitchell's Bookstore, the ferry boat ride, Murray's, tea at Jared Coffin and St. Paul's Church.

"Kappy the Kat" is based on a true story about a cat named Kappy who falls in love, in Nantucket, with the town cat: Willy. Kappy, the siren from Turkey, wanted a life where she could be free and sails to Nantucket to search for her soul - where she met Willy. This enchanting book has lots of illustrations of Cap'n Tobey's, Dreamland, the Even Keel Restaurant, Osana's Auction House, the Lobster Trap, the Wharf Rat Club, the Hub, the Club Car and more...

The fourth book in the series is "Call Me Bert," about a boat from Bay Head at the Jersey Shore. This is Tine Graham's first book specifically for children and is about a sad, little boat lying in the weeds in Barnagat Bay at the Jersey Shore. It is filled with wonderful, colorful paintings and prose - of course, with a happy ending as the old boat finds a wonderful family to care for it....fun...fun...fun.

The four books are a perfect holiday gift grouping or, they can be separated to send to four people that you love, and who love Nantucket.
