Alice Benvie Gebhart is a graduate of Rhode Island College and a professional artist and art educator since 1980. It was when she discovered the rich and vivid properties of fused glass that Alice found her passion. Her experimentation with kiln-fired glass distinguishes her work.  Alice is a member of the Glass Art Society, International Guild of Glass Artists, American Craft Council, Providence Art Club, Art League of Rhode Island and Newport Art Museum and Art Association. Her work can be found in private and public collections such as that of Congressman Patrick Kennedy.  Her art is also on display at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, RI.
