In Bernie's words: "This portrait was done from a photo taken by a friend while on a trip to France. The cows were very interested in what he was doing and made for some great photos. I have done a series of cow portraits from his photos, one of which won a best of show at a Members exhibition here at the Museum. This cow is saying "Bonjour" and once you are locked in to the inquisitive look and greeting, it's tough to break away without a reply of "Bonjour."
