Description

"Narrative Ceramic Vessel with Mixed media doily;

Vessel:  Hand built, carved terracotta; glaze- and lustre-fired with digital transfers and oil-painted surface.

Doily:  Cloth and digital prints on paper, hand and machine stitching.

This vaguely historic form provides a lens through which an examination of iconography occurs; in this case that of the feminine ideal."
