Description

31" X 25" Graphite and charcoal drawing

"Kurt Schilling saying "goodbye" to the fans of Boston.  Kurt Schilling played an important role in Boston winning the World Series.  My medium is graphite and charcoal.  I use various tools to blend with.  I use a blending stump, Q-tips, toilet paper, chamois and different erasers all to create smooth textures, detail and tones.  I never uses his fingers as this can transfer oil to the paper.  Frisket and tape also are used in the various stages of building a piece of artwork."
