13.5" x 11.5" x 1.25" Mixed Media "A Con Edison Cryptic Charm" is an altered giclee print on archival paper. The Con Ed Charm is painted in metallic gold and antique copper. Its complimentary brick colored border has the texture and deckled edges of the artist's hand made paper In a delicate script the artist incorporated two lines from her "Ode to Karl Shapiro." Ascending line: "I am struck by the beauty of manhole covers."
Desending line: "Addicted to their Cryptic charms." The outer border is light beige with the texture of oriental papers.
"A Con Edison Cryptic Charm" is shadow-boxed framed in a handsome Walnut-tone decorator frame lightly brushed with gold tones. It has an easel backing or can be hung on a wall.

Bobbi Mastrangelo's is internationally known for her unique creations based on water covers and manhole covers. She is a member of The National Association of Women Artists and is listed in The Marquis's "Who's Who in American Art”. Her art is prominent in collections including: The Baltimore Museum of Public Works, The Heckscher Museum, The Islip Art Museum and the Zimmerli Museum at Rutgers University.
