Janet Shapero describes this print as a "rete-chrome translucent image relating to urban structures and the color of hope, renewal and life." Indeed the green shades represented in various textures give the print an abstract movement and life of its own.

Janet Shapero is an award winning multi-media artist who has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions. Her work is found in public collections in the United States and abroad. She received her BFA in Sculpture from RISD and an MFA in Sculpture and Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin.
