"In the Still" was a moment in time, early on a Fall morning on Cyrstal Lake in New Hampshire.  Nothing was moving except for the mist rising from the lake.  I couldn't help but attempt to capture the tranquil but haunting scene.

Carol Wontkowski studied Photography at the Rhode Island School of Photography.  Carol has exhibited her work extensively in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  She has a background in advertising and made a drastic career change in 1986 when she went back to college and received a BS in Exercise Physiology from Bridgewater Sate College.
