35" X 29" Oil on canvas.


Swirls of green and blue create the illusion of wind blowing in this piece. The Pollock-inspired splatters of paint suggest the profile of a woman, and allow her features to move wildly and then fade into the purple and green background.  


Doreen Dunham is a native New Englander, born in New Hampshire.  Doreen belongs to numerous art associations, including Brennabuarts, the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative and the Women’s Art Network.  Doreen was juried into the “Out of the Blue” at the Attleboro Arts Museum. Doreen’s work is in several private collections along the eastern seaboard and she shows extensively in the Unites States.
